ABOUT ME

As a therapist, I bring in my experiences as a classroom teacher, school counselor, social worker, and parent.

My areas of expertise and interest include anxiety, identity development, gender and sexuality, neurodiversity, attachment, and trauma.

I especially enjoy working with adolescents and those on parenting journeys.

 

As a social worker, I recognize how different systems - our bodies, families, communities, cultures - shape our lives. I believe that change and growth requires working holistically with our bodies and brains and our external environments.

As a former school counselor, I understand child and adolescent development and the ways in which our experiences from early childhood impact us throughout our lives and into adulthood.

As a licensed clinician, I take my own growth and development seriously and continue to learn through consultation and study. I also limit my caseload so that I can devote the necessary care, time, and attention that each of my clients deserve.
